
Terms & Conditions
Below are the terms & condions of our quotation and services:

Our quotation is not a fixed cost price and we cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions or changes in criteria or any other issue that is out of our control by the relevant authorities which may be subject to change during the process or after completion.

The quotation does not include headlight or rear-light replacements or modifications that your vehicle may need to comply with Spanish and EU regulations.

We have our own local workshop with an ITV Certified Headlight testing unit, the same as you will find at the ITV testing stations. We offer a headlight and rear light test for a small fee if required. We also have our own specialist engineer that can modify or replace headlights and rear lights if applicable to EU specification.

We will advise you of any necessary changes or modifications needed when we inspect the vehicle or if the testing station requires a change to your vehicle to pass the import inspection/test.

If the vehicle does not have European homologation or an issue that prevents the importation & registration, we will assist to resolve the issues to complete the registration. However, these are not included in this quotation and we cannot guarantee completion of the importation or registration if the vehicle does not comply with Spanish requirements or they are not accepted by the authorities for reasons outside our control.

The import and registration process normally takes around four weeks to complete, but it may vary.

Please note due to the area that we operate this service, the import/ITV tests can only be carried out at our partner ITV station located in San Pedro del Pinatar, Murcia. We are unable to use any other ITV station.
If the vehicle fails the import/ ITV due to faults or homologation issues or another issue and further ITV tests and work are required, these will be charged. -
You do not need to be a Spanish resident to register a homologated vehicle but you will need to have an NIE certificate, a valid Padron (Your local Town hall registration document) and a valid passport to be able to register a vehicle in Spain.

As an official Spanish Gestora, to prove your address to the traffic office we are able to use an official Water or Electricity bill in your name, dated within 3 months. No other documemnt will be accepted by the traffic office. If in doubt please ask us and we will help. For Non Homologated vehicles a padron is required as well as Spanish residency. Please ask for details.
If you do not have one or more of these documents, we can help you obtain them through our sister company Covered Legal. -
Normally we complete the importation part of the service through the customs office telematicaly in the Alicante region.

Please be aware that the Alicante customs office may request you to present your vehicle at the customs office for a physical inspection. Or other customs offices will require presentation of the vehicle.

If your vehicle requires an inspection by the customs office, we will arrange the appointment and attend the inspection with you and your vehicle. If required, this service will be charged separately.
If you are located outside of the Alicante region the customs office will require presentation of the vehicle for inspection. -
We do not accept any responsibility for the vehicle being brought to Spain or purchased based on this or any quotation.

We are unable to give a quotation unless you own the car and have registration document in your name.

Quotation is valid for 30 days from the date the quotation is sent and the initial deposit paid.

If the import/registration is cancelled, abandoned or the vehicle does not comply in any way, the initial deposit will not be refundable as VRS would have completed work on behalf of the client.
